clouds always collide 
with no sound

half moon aglow

fumbles for what's yours

I hold mybreath

as a corset tight

for your unfolding

across vast place
called
now and 
then

where the why slides down
too fast to know

while hoping
hangs on
talons
and 
teeth

I cringe
or 
I smile

weakened by fear

imprisoned souls

ours infinite plan

I am scared
you will land

eventually
